Join us on Sunday, Feb. 25 from 3 to 5 p.m. for an engaging and personal talk — with possible cameo appearances from their mother, Hon. Cheryl Brown and sister, Regina Brown-Wilson – Black Voice News curators, Hardy Brown II and Paulette Brown-Hinds, share some hard truths about the organization’s work as local government watchdogs but as recorders of Black life in the Inland Empire, including profiles of leaders making a difference in communities across the region, coverage of community events, mapping community assets, and reporting on the fight for social justice and racial equity.

The exhibit, Power of the Press: Black Voice News @ 50, currently on display at San Bernardino County Museum highlights not only the organization’s work as local government watchdogs but as recorders of Black life in the Inland Empire, including profiles of leaders making a difference in communities across the region, coverage of community events, mapping community assets, and reporting on the fight for social justice and racial equity. The exhibit officially closes Sunday, April 28.

The San Bernardino County Museum is located at 2024 Orange Tree Lane in Redlands. Museum galleries will be open during the event with general admission pricing which is $10 (adult), $8 (military/senior), $7 (student), and $5 (children ages 6 to 12). Children 5 & under and museum members are free. Parking is free and the museum is accessible to persons with disabilities. For more information, visit museum.sbcounty.gov/events.
