Prime Video has set the stage for a highly anticipated return as it unveils the premiere date for “Betty La Fea, The Story Continues,” slated to hit screens on July 19, 2024. The series will exclusively stream on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories worldwide, marking a milestone in global entertainment.

The dramedy, a continuation of the beloved telenovela “Yo soy Betty, la Fea,” will reunite audiences with familiar faces, including Ana María Orozco (Cochina Envidia) and Jorge Enrique Abello (Last One Laughing Colombia-LOL CO), along with a stellar original cast.

Joining them are Julián Arango (Rigo), Natalia Ramírez (MANES), Lorna Cepeda (Amas de casa desesperadas), Luces Velásquez (Sin senos sí hay paraíso), Marcela Posada (Todos quieren con Marilyn), Mario Duarte (Francisco el matemático), Julio Cesar Herrera (Sin senos sí hay paraíso), Ricardo Vélez (El último matrimonio feliz), Alberto León Jaramillo (La vida después del reality), and Estefanía Gómez. Additionally, Rodrigo Candamil (A grito herido), Juanita Molina (MANES), Zharick León (La viuda de blanco), and Sebastián Osorio (Pasión de gavilanes) join the ensemble cast, promising a captivating revival.

“Betty La Fea, The Story Continues,” produced by RCN Estudios for Prime Video, ventures into the life of Beatriz Pinzón Solano two decades after the original series. As Betty navigates the complexities of motherhood and career, her once-enviable relationship with Armando takes a tumultuous turn, prompting introspection on past decisions.

Recognized by Guinness World Records as the most successful telenovela in history, “Yo soy Betty, la Fea” has captivated audiences across the globe, transcending cultural boundaries with its universal themes. With broadcasts in 180 countries and dubbed in 15 languages, the series has spawned adaptations in 28 territories, a testament to its enduring legacy.
