Here’s a comprehensive Hamptons summer guide, featuring must-pack wardrobe items, and my recommendation of where to eat and stay depending on the type of getaway you’re planning.
Starting with wardrobe : casual and easy to wear clothes are a must. With the humidity and heat, the key to keeping it cute is breathable fabrics and effortless pieces. Some things just scream Hamptons: like matching sets, linen, and sandals. You’ll want to bring something elegant and flirty to wear for a nice dinner and fireside drinks on a deck or beach, but don’t skew to too revealing, as you may want to keep certain restaurants’ dress codes in mind.
